And we’re back! It’s been a pretty hectic month at Wool Warehouse HQ and we had all hands on deck cutting, picking and packing your orders. Let’s have a look at the new goodies that have been causing a stir in our fabric room this month.
Kona’s Colour of the Year 2025
We’ve had a big restock of Kona Cotton Solids over the festive period, and they have added their colour of 2025 to the existing 365 (!) shade palette. If Pantone’s ‘Mocha Mousse’ didn’t take your fancy, the celestial deep violet ‘Nocturne’ might be more up your street. You can find this new hue in stock here as well as two magical free quilt patterns ‘Silky Star‘ and ‘Cosmic Glow‘.

I noticed that a lot of needlecrafters loved ‘Ice Frappe‘ as a minty canvas for their stitching this month. It’s not just for quilters!
Wild Woodlands from Dashwood Studio
Escape into an autumnal forest with these new-in charming prints by designer Nina Raby Jones. ‘Woodland Wander‘ features swooping birds, dancing squirrels and pretty wild blooms in a vibrant earthy palette. I had the pleasure of unboxing this collection when it arrived and I’m really wowed by Nina’s use of colour – I love the pops of hot pink and orange among the more classic autumnal shades.

Bethan Janine’s whimsical ‘Wild Folk‘ collection has also just landed in the fabric room, and celebrates woodland animals and florals in her signature intricate illustration style. Bethan’s collections for Dashwood Studio are a firm favourite at Wool Warehouse and these lovely animal prints in a warm, rich palette of purples, russet and pinks will add a touch of magic to all your sewing projects.

Coastal Vibes from Moda
We’ve noticed a lot of love for Robin Picken’s big painterly floral designs for Moda, and we’re excited to have her latest collection ‘Serena Shores‘ in stock (admittedly, as I write this, it’s selling out fast!). This gentle, breezy range of prints is an homage to Robin’s coastal happy place, filled with tall, lacy Agapanthus, sketchy shells, beach combed treasures, seaweed strands and delicate paisley.

If you’re a fan of Robin’s work, look out for the vibrant ‘Superbloom‘ collection which is due in early summer this year and will include two jaw dropping floral ombre prints.
