Welcome back to the Craft Room. January has been, well, busy. Orders have been flying in, which meant a lot of hands on deck! We’ve had to push back a few yarn launches as chaos would’ve erupted on the warehouse floor, and that’s something no-one wants. We’re still here with our end of month catch up, so let’s dive in shall we….!
Spotlights in the Warehouse
Although not new to us, and we have had it for a few weeks now, the Cygnet Pato Multi Colours Chunky yarn has been incredibly popular. Brightly striped and soft to the touch, this colourful yarn will be perfect for big knit projects and clothing, as well as for toys, and will be economical to use for charity knitting and crochet items. Nine beautiful shades, that will make your projects really stand out! Shop by clicking here.
New Scheepjes Colour Packs have also landed with us, 5 beautifully arranged yarn packs that each represent creativity and inspire self-expression. Together, these packs represent the entire refreshed colour range, including 16 stunning new shades that breathe fresh energy and infuse spirit into knitted and crocheted projects. Inspired by themes of balance, creativity, and wellbeing, the new Stone Washed colour packs are purposefully named Aura, Intentions, Chakras, Grounding, and Manifest. These evocative names encourage crafters to explore the deeper significance behind each colourway, helping to create meaningful pieces that tell a story. See four of the five below, and click here to shop.

Rowan New Projects
The Rowan Kidsilk Haze Reimagined Book is a delightful collection of eight timeless designs, lovingly curated from the Kidsilk Haze archives. Each piece has been given a fresh new look with contemporary colour palettes, breathing new life into these classic designs while showcasing the enduring beauty and versatility of the beloved Kidsilk Haze yarn. Be inspired by the work of talented designers Lisa Richardson, Kim Hargreaves, Sharon Miller, Sarah Hatton, Jennie Atkinson, and Lois Daykin as you revisit these cherished patterns.

Following the resounding success of Georgia Farrell’s original Abstract collection, we’re excited to stock the Rowan Abstract Volume 2. Building upon the striking graphic feel of the first, Georgia has masterfully blended tessellating geometric patterns with captivating collage-style colour blocks, creating a collection that is both bold and sophisticated. Through the interplay of contrasting lines, angles, and shapes, she has achieved a truly unique and eye-catching aesthetic. Featuring two exquisite yarns – Summerlite 4ply and Kidsilk Haze – this collection offers a range of eight stunning designs, including sweaters, tees, and cardigans, all available in a vibrant array of fresh and exciting colourways.

That’s all for this month, why not head over to see what’s new with Needlecraft, and make sure you pop over to see Judith in Fabric 🥰
