We’re always on the lookout for new brands within the warehouse, so when we took a closer look into Orchidea, we couldn’t resist stocking it! Covering so many diciplines, Orchidea’s variety, value and quality have blown us away.
Whether you’re new to a craft or a little more well-versed, Orchidea cover cross stitch, latch hooking and tapestry. The My First… kits are a wonderful way to get the younger ones into a new craft; it’s a great way to include them into something you enjoy, or if they’d just like to learn something new.

From a cute goose, a fluffy bunny and an excitable puppy, there’s something that the little ones will enjoy to create, with each kit including everything they’ll need to complete their first needlepoint masterpiece. Other kit styles include tissue boxes, novelty cushions and decorations for both spring and Christmas. Click HERE to explore the full Orchidea collection.
Ellie’s Top Three
We’re putting our General Manager Ellie in the hot seat to reveal favourites and why!

First up, Ellie’s dreaming of all things tropical…
“Who doesn’t dream of jetting off to a tranquil beach location, surrounded by palm trees, blue water and white sands? I love the Vacation Memories series of kits and out of all the holiday scenes pictured, Tropical Sea is making me want to plan a summer holiday!”
Next up…
“Latch hooking is a craft I am yet to try, and so the cute characters featured in this kit, would be the perfect project to let me try out the new craft!
I am very much enjoying seeing the first signs of Spring at the moment, and this Doe Rug Kit has a definite spring-like feel to it, especially with the delicate floral edging.”

For Ellie’s final pick, she’s feeling festive with the Pretty Bauble card kit! She says…
“Moving into a completely different season, is my last pick – I love the designs of these greeting cards, and especially this Christmas design, whereby the stitched image is extended with a printed image on the front of the card.
The stitched area is small, meaning for a quick holiday project to send to loved ones.”
Some great choices – thanks, Ellie!
