Welcome back to our Monthly Round Up! With February being a shorter month, it sure has flown by. I’ve been busy making these adorable frogs by Little Forest Makes, I can’t stop, the pattern is just so easy to follow, and they look great in Drops Nepal – Olive Green Mix! Anyway, back to February… We’ve had a few new bits in for you crafters, from new shades in our Yarnsmiths Create Aran to some swanky needles from Lykke. Let’s get on! ✨
Spotlights in the Warehouse

We started the year with new shades of our Yarnsmiths Create Aran joining the family. This now takes our Create Aran up to a whopping sixty shades! We’ve seen how popular Aran weight yarns have become since launching Yarnsmiths, and we couldn’t wait to add to the Create Aran range for you crafters. New shades include Oatmeal, Vanilla Fudge, Carrot and Celery to name just a few. You can shop the wonderful range here! (If you have any other colours you’d like adding, remember to drop us an email or DM on social media with your ideas!)

Next up, we introduce the James C Brett Big ‘Un, a delightfully squishy super chunky yarn available in 10 vibrant colours. Each 300g ball gives 29 metres of yarn to work with, and you can use anything from a 15mm hook or larger, allowing for a variety of textures and appearances based on your choice of hook size. It’s perfect for creating cosy, oversized blanket projects and can even be used for finger knitting. Shop the yarn here.

Row Counters, every crafter’s best pal, am I right? We’ve had four new counters in from Emma Ball, all of which have been laser cut from plywood. The cute designs are from Emma’s iconic collection, featuring the Sheep in Sweaters, Alpacas, Felted Sheep and Knitting Puffin. The counters measure a cute 87mm width x 43mm height x 11mm depth, so they can be perfectly stashed in your craft bag. They are made in the UK. Shop them here.
Lykke Needles are a popular choice for knitters and crocheters, with their needles and hooks being handcrafted and assembled in a scenic region of Kathmandu, Nepal. Their production routines do not rely on mechanised automation. Instead, the products benefit from the skilled and graceful human touch of the Nepalese craftspeople, which makes them even more lovely to purchase! The Flight Needles are new to us, they are made from grade 316 stainless steel alloy, the set provides durability and resistance to corrosion. We have the 2 sizes in different sets. A mini set (coming in 3.5 inch and 5 inch) and the standard set (again, in a 3.5 and 5 inch). See the full range here.

You may have seen the new Made by Anita blanket on social media; the Easter Moments blanket is showing us signs of spring in all this grey weather, a joyful blanket designed to capture the gentle colours and calm feeling of spring and Easter. Made using simple, rhythmic stitches that are relaxing to work on in your own time and easy to pick up and put down. You can shop the yarn pack and shop the pattern here.

That’s it for this month! Head over to Needlecraft and Fabric here, to catch up with what’s new!
