Astri is originally from Norway but has been based in USA since childhood and, as a citizen of both countries, she now divides her time between the two.  Her design name is Apple Blossom Dreams, named for the street where she lived in 2011 when she first began to turn her crochet dreams into designs.  Astri adores playing with colour (so much so that the colour wheel is her favourite creating tool), and looks to nature for inspiration for her happy, floral designs.  Astri’s designs have been featured in Simply Crochet magazine, Crochet-News.com, KnitHacker and AllFreeCrochet.com, amongst others.  She favours both bright and muted colours, in the order of the colour wheel, and loves to use Yarnsmiths Create DK and Pebble Haze, as well as Scheepjes Catona and Stylecraft Special DK, in her creations.
