Catherine is a Stylecraft Blogstar who first picked up a crochet hook in 2009, as a way to express her creativity and to keep herself occupied, despite the limitations of a chronic illness.  Taught the basics by her Mum, Catherine quickly found out everything else she needed to know and embarked upon scarves, hat, amigurumi and, then, her first blanket.  Some years, and many blankets, later, Catherine decided to begin designing her own blankets.  Taking her inspiration from nature, particularly her garden, and from literature, Catherine loves to create textually and visually interesting pieces which express both her passions.
