A love of crafting, nurtured by both her grandmothers and her mum, inspired Sandra Paul to first begin tweaking knitting and crochet patterns to better suit her needs and then to begin designing them herself from her imagination.  Always a creative person with a love of colour, Sandra, whose design brand is Cherry Heart, became inspired by crochet later in life.  Sandra is based in the UK, where she loves to potter in her garden, and is always happy when listening to a good audio book whilst she crafts. Colour is Sandra’s signature design style – sometimes bright, sometimes pastel, but almost always with a vintage feel.  Soft pinks and peaches, sage greens and duck egg blues are particular favourites, and inspiration can come from all sorts of sources – a dress, a patterned wallpaper, a tile have all sparked a creative idea in Sandra’s mind.
