Helen, who lives in Cornwall and designs under the name Crystals and Crochet, began to crochet when her Nanna taught her at a very young age.  She has always been creative and ran a healing centre and crystal shop until crochet stole her heart.  Helen’s design inspiration is the natural, peaceful world – she credits her “Crochet Angels” with giving her the ideas for her designs, saying she never knows what will happen when she picks up her hook to begin something new!  Helen has been publishing her crochet designs since 2015, and loves to make textured surfaces and changing shapes within each one. And although she uses many colours when working up a design, her own heart has been stolen by blues, pinks and purples.
