Rosina, who is based in Norfolk, designs under the names Rosina Plane and Rosina Crochets, and was taught to crochet as a 12-year-old by her grandmother. Creative from a very young age, she was always adapting and adding a personal twist or a flourish to patterns, so that designing from scratch just felt like a natural progression for her. She says that design ideas and inspiration pop into her head constantly, often at rather inconvenient times! Since discovering mosaic crochet in 2019, most of Rosina’s designs have used that technique, and tend to feature repeating motifs inspired by nature. And lots of colour – rarely does she use fewer than three colours for her creations!
You can find Rosina’s designs on her website, on her YouTube channel and on Instagram @rosinaplane. She also runs two active Facebook groups.
