Alice Tarry, the person behind The Burrow UK crochet design name, is a mum of four who lives in Buckinghamshire.  After studying textiles and surface design at university, she began teaching crochet more than ten years ago, and still loves to encourage new learners and support them as they progress on their creative journeys.  Alice finds such pleasure in spreading her love of experimentation and really enjoys inspiring people to embrace colour and texture.  She has been designing crochet patterns for several years, and her creations have featured in Crochet Now, Simply Crochet, Little Box of Crochet, and on Kirstie’s Handmade Christmas in 2024.  To see what Alice is working on next, please check out her Instagram @the_burrow_uk
