Dee Jamieson, the creative force behind the design brand, The Crocheted Cabin, first fell in love with crochet in late 2018, although she has been crafting and knitting for almost all her life.  Dee’s passion is granny square designs, which she finds very versatile for blanket designs, with endless choices of colour combinations and layouts.  The Crocheted Cabin was born after Dee’s Instagram followers began asking her for blanket patterns, and she now finds herself pretty much constantly occupied with exciting new ideas for future designs!   Dee finds her design inspiration mainly in colour, but also from nature and seasonal tones, with particular emphasis on autumnal shades.  Dee is a fan of Wool Warehouse’s own Yarnsmiths brand and particularly enjoys working with Play DK, Create DK, and the Pebble Haze range.  Based in Kent, when Dee isn’t occupied with her crochet business she loves to be in her garden, making designs with her flowers and plants!  You can find Dee on Instagram @thecrochetedcabin.
