Marion Mitchell, the designer behind the Wool Thread Paint brand, is based on Scotland’s east coast, from where she draws inspiration for her crochet creations.  Walks in the countryside and on the beach enable her to soak up the natural colours, which all provide ideas and inspiration for her designs.  With her concentration on colour, Marion designs blankets which are simple in stitchwork (and ideal for beginners), allowing the different shades and combinations to be the stars.  She began designing crochet patterns in 2016, and quickly found that her passion for colour and for geometric patterns was a perfect fit for creating crochet blankets.
