March always feels like one of the longest months, but thankfully we have been stocking the shelves with some new yarns and projects to keep your crafty hands busy.
Just Arrived
We have received 9 new shades of Malabrigo Washted to join the popular range. You may have seen some of these shades in your other favourite Malabrigo ranges, which means you can make those saved-up projects in some of your favourites! I am mostly drawn to Pecas (centre image) as the mottled shades of brown running through that golden yellow is screaming summer makes! Shop Malabrigo Washted here
Just LOOK at those fibres!
Two new ranges that have graced our warehouse floors are the Rico Painted Power and Stylecraft Batik Swirl Elements. Lucky for us, these two are both in the same area of the warehouse, so are an easy pick!
Painted Power from Rico has an incredible mix of 41% Polyester, 9% Polyamide, 7% Wool and 43% Acrylic which makes this yarn perfectly fluffy (just look at those fibres!!) It also packs a punchy colour range, with your softer pastel shades, plus some brighter pinks and greens for those who like to make a statement with their makes! Shop here
Lastly, in our wonderful warehouse of yarns, we are delighted to be stocking the Stylecraft Batik Swirl Elements. Revel in the enchanting colour transitions of each yarn cake, creating a soft and luxurious feel at your fingertips. Knit Pro has just unveiled their delightful new Sweet Affair gift set, and the soft pastel colours in this collection are perfect for welcoming the spring season! If you’re not familiar with KnitPro, let me introduce you to the wonderful contents of this gift set. So, we’ve all been chanting the “let’s finish our WIPs” mantra, but let’s be honest, is there anything worse than tackling those half-done projects right now? I mean, I’ve got not one, but two baby blankets in progress (talk about time pressure!), and all they need is the border to be done. Easy-peasy, right? But have I done it? Nope. Have I spent way too much time checking out Janie Crow’s new colour options for the Magic Circles blankets? Of course I have! 😂
I can’t help but confess that I’ve never actually attempted any of Janie Crow’s patterns, but boy, do I find myself pootling down to the Stylecraft section of the warehouse just to look at the pattern fronts. The images are gorgeous, and the colours Jane chooses for her patterns are just *chefs kiss*! We are very lucky to have both the new colorways of the Magic Circles blanket and the yarn pack for the Spirit of Flora CAL, which was from Inside Crochet. It’s like a slice of crochet heaven in the warehouse. Just can’t resist it!
Other new projects are the delightful King Cole Pricewise patterns in a stunning rainbow colourway— perfect for a rainy day make to brighten the mood; plus, I was thinking it’s the perfect make for Pride! Give me some time to cast on, and it may just be done in time! We also have a fancy new patterns from Sirdar, who once again have created gorgeous knitted textured patterns in an array of spring-like colours! And a new yarn pack from Emkat Crochet for the Rainbows of Love Blanket and Cushion… WE LOVE! Really, you’re spoilt for choice!
