Hello June! These months are flying by. The wet weather has stayed with us, but I can see the sun trying to poke its head through the clouds. Shall we have a look at what’s new in the warehouse this month?
New Caron

Two fab new ranges have landed on our desks this month from Caron, the Colourama Halo and the Macchiato Cakes. Both are spot-on for knitting and crochet projects. The Macchiato is a wonderfully chunky yarn, perfect for 6mm hooks or needles. The Colourama yarn is another chunky delight, but this one has a fluffy halo that adds a bit of extra pizzazz to your creations! Both come with a cracking free pattern right on the ball band, which means you don’t even need to go looking for a project!

Two new ranges have landed this June, Stylecraft Head Over Heels and Wendy Supreme Chunky & Aran. Stylecraft, along with Stuart Hillard, has curated a wonderful colour palette called Australia, inspired by its rich hues. It’s the perfect sock yarn for those looking for deeper, earthy tones.
Next, we have the classic Wendy Supreme Aran and Wendy Supreme Chunky. Both ranges come in an array of 20 delightful shades, from soft pinks to bright oranges. The yarn’s softness and durability will see your creations through the winter ❄️Remember to tag your makes with #woolwarehousecrafters
Other new goodies…

Say hello to the latest yarn packs from Yarnsmiths! These packs don’t come with patterns – they’ve been created by our Yarnsmiths Design Team (that’s us, the Woolly Workers!) just for you. We’ve had loads of requests for basic rainbow packs, since choosing colours can be tricky with so many shades on offer. So, we’ve put together an Autumnal Rainbow, Bright Rainbow, and Pastel Rainbow, plus a lovely Monochrome and Beigetown pack. The colours are picked based on what our customer service team thinks are popular, since they’re the ones who hear your requests. Let us know if there are any colours you think we should add or swap out 😊

We’re also saying hello to some gorgeous new patterns from our friends over at West Yorkshire Spinners. Seven new adult patterns feature some of their most popular yarns, including The Croft Shetland and Bluefaced Leicester. The knitted patterns are a wonderful nod to winter, better get your needles out and start now!
That’s it for June, a little short and sweet! We’ll be back in July with more goodies, but for now, why not check out what Judith has to say about Fabric, and Annette on Needlecraft?!
