It’s safe to say we’re completely spellbound this week as Ruby Star Society’s Good Spirits has landed in the warehouse! This one’s been in the back of my mind ever since our fabric meeting where it was first featured, so it’s no surprise that I’ve already grabbed myself some! But don’t worry, there’s still some left for all of you lovely crafters out there.
Ruby Star Society’s designers are all renowned and celebrated for their colourful and quirky designs separately, so when coming together for this collaborative collection, magic was sure to spark.
Featuring ghosts, skulls, owls and florals, Good Spirits delivers classic Halloween iconography while adding a modern twist.
Our personal favourite design within the collection has to be Hey Boo, featuring many frightfully fabulous Halloween ladies!
Vampires, mummies, cats, bats and more are quick to impress in both Ghostly and the Crème Brulee colourways.
But when the lights go out, you’re in for a little surprise… this fabric glows in the dark! Not only are our Scream Queens are lighting up those stars for us once the cloak of darkness falls, but those little Scaredy Cats will also be keeping their eyes peeled in the night for any monsters under the bed!
Close To Midnight
Of course, we always love those classic colours used for Halloween, yet the Ghostly Blue and Caviar that’s featured offers something a little different, whilst still bringing the chills. The skulls and phones featured on Creepy Damask just makes us think of one question in particular…“What’s your favourite scary movie?” – IYKYK.
But if you’re fan of something a little brighter and one that’s reminiscent of everyone’s favourite gourds of the season, both Curios and Creepy Damask are also available in those pumpkin hues. But don’t forget, you can head into the crypt and discover the full collection HERE.
