We’re back for another edition of The Stitchuation and, for May, we’re casting the spotlight on Vervaco! For over 75 astounding years, Vervaco have been supplying crafters with high-quality kits and they show no signs of slowing down, either.
To raise a slightly belated glass, we felt inspired to take a closer look at the brand and some of our current favourites. Let’s get started!
Welcome To The World
The birth of a new arrival is always an exciting time and one where parents seem to be inundated with ‘First Size’ clothing that may or may not work for their bundles of joy. Gifting a handmade piece is a personal keepsake and one to cherish forever. Vervaco aren’t short of offerings for a baby sampler and their cute themes will bring a smile to both parent and child.
Covering numerous themes, we couldn’t help but pick more than a few for this section! Woodlands continue to appear to be a popular choice for nurseries; Into The Woods and In The Forest offer both a colourful and tastefully muted option to the theme. Taking a closer look at the forest floor, this adorable little Ladybug kit is sure to bring a smile to its recipient.
More animals are invited to the party in Animal Cheer, as the new arrival is certainly cause for celebration! Yet there’s also a tonne of fun on the farm in the Tractor birth sampler, showing that any farmer can’t stop this barnyard bunch from having a blast! A New Chapter
There’s nothing better than getting lost in a good book; however, there’s nothing worse than losing your page! Thankfully, Vervaco have made keeping track of your progess that much easier and far more stylish than just dog-earing those pages of prose.
Whether stitching these for yourself or another bookworm, these particular kits could also be perfect for besties – one for you, one for them! We’re loving the playful cats on top of these Book Piles; they seem one move away from toppling over! Yet if you’d rather take the scenic route, the Alpine Meadow set will have you dreaming of beautiful vistas each time you wish to park those pages.

Three, Is A Magic Number
We’re all looking for ways to save those precious pennies more than ever, so being able to get more kit for your buck is a real bonus. Vervaco definitely tick the boxes when it comes to quality and variety, but their designs, especially in their themed multi-kits, offers the biggest tick of them all.
Delivering three different designs is a perfect way to spread the stitching cheer if you wish to. You could stitch a picture for a loved one, or work your way through each piece and find the perfect space for them in your home. Yet the perfect offering are these beautiful set of Floral Lavender cards; ideal to stitch and write for birthdays or just because, your recipient will now have something to cherish no matter the occassion.
We’re also loving the scenery of the Lighthouses and how each piece comes ‘out’ of the frame!
