Dreaming of getaways is quite the common thought, especially at this time of the year when the sun is keen to poke out of the clouds that little bit more! We thought what better way to encourage a little camping trip than to head down to the woods with Dashwood, as we explore their Cedar Camp collection.
Designed by Ramble & Bramble, Dashwood explains that Georgia finds her inspiration from the countryside around her, with many illustrations inspired by the picturesque scenery and wildlife. Whether its camping paraphernalia or little foxes fetching firewood, there’s plenty to notice in this small-but-mighty collection.

Featuring warm cream tones and vivid teals, Cedar Camp is perfect for those who are in tune to their sense of adventure.
We can totally see some of these designs being used in campers for cushions or curtains! Alternatively, these motifs and woodland animals would be a wonderful inspiration for children’s nurseries.
Not only are the colours complimentary, the message of exploration is, quite literally, sewn in throughout, reminding us to never lose sight of our sense of adventure. It’s tough to pick our favourites for this one as Georgia’s illustrations really are hard to resist!
As tough as it may be to make our final choice for a favourite, the easiest thing to consider is just how much you can do with the collection. Have you used Cedar Camp for any of your makes? If so, we’d love to see! Be sure to let us know by tagging us in your photos using #WWQuilters, and we’ll share some of our favourites.
