Fabric Focus – Snuggle Up Season 🍂

It’s officially cosy season and what better way to celebrate than with a brand new collection to the fabric department! This week, we’re welcoming another hit from Lewis & Irene with Snuggle-Up Season.

Pesky squirrels, roaming hedgehogs and cuddly gnomes are just a few elements that await in the latest range; some of which may feel a little familiar to you. The latest drop offers a reworking and texture update of a previous collection, similarly named Snuggle Season.

Lewis & Irene are no strangers when it comes to incorporating different elements into their collections and designs. They’re well-known for their use of gorgeous metallics and pearlescence, not to mention becoming quite the guiding light when it comes to their high quality glow-in-the-dark ranges. However, the past couple of years has shown an increase in their flannel collections and, thankfully for us all, shows no sign of slowing.

Their previous flannels began to filter through for winter and more festive collections, such as New Forest Winter and Winter In Bluebell Wood. With the success and feedback from delighted quilters for its quality and incredibly soft feel, Lewis & Irene have listened. The Loch Lewis flannels launched earlier in the year; another well-loved collection that was reworked into cosy range. Snuggle-Up Season, however, has us covered with nothing but Autumnal vibes.

As always with our Fabric Focus posts, we like to give ourselves the hard task in choosing our favourites. Snuggle-Up Season’s whimsy throughout is certainly something to be celebrated, much like the colour choices they’ve gone for in this collection – especially the sages and oranges together. Our top picks for this week are as cosy as each other, but these three are too gord-geous to resist: the Pumpkins in Chocolate, the Acorns in Sage and the Autumn Gnomes in Dark Cream. Texturally and tonally a dream, we could see this delightful trio in a patchwork blanket, alright!

The 12-piece collection is available now; simply click HERE to view the full collection. As always, be sure to tag us in your makes using #WoolWarehouseCrafters, and if you’ve chosen your top picks, make sure to let us know over on our socials!

That’s it from us this week; we’re off to light some candles and hunker down with a blanket and a book! To keep up with our more regular posts, be sure to subscribe to The Craft Room below – don’t forget to check back for inspiration, free patterns and more ✨
