Gemma’s New Year Resolutions 🗓️

by Woolly Worker

We’re almost seeing out our second week of the new year, but not before we catch up with another Woolly Worker! I’m back with another round of resolutions and following Alex’s from last week, I recently caught up with Query Manager Gemma to see just how much is stuffed inside those craft bags!

Hi, Gem! What lovely things have you made in 2025?

A Stardew Valley Summer cross stitch, Several pairs of socks! The Wrendale Designs Flamingle Bells cross stitch from Bothy Threads

Blimey! I already feel like you’re about to reel off a load more…

Yep! I’ve made some dice bags and pouches for Dungeons & Dragons, A shirt for my husband from Lewis & Irene fabric, which he wore in time for his Christmas party, and a doll of our Druid’s Dungeons & Dragons character.

Love it! A very busy 2025, indeed! What are you hoping to finish for 2026?

A Stardew Valley Autumn cross stitch from FancyFoxGlove on Etsy, Charlotte’s Universe blanket using Yarnsmiths Merino DK! Then, two shirts for my husband (one has just a pocket sewn on, the other is just fabric), The Scheepjes Christmas shawl from the Chrimbo Limbo pack that I got for Christmas 2021, The quilt topper for the Nebula Quilt I started in 2020.

Making great progress, so far – these all sound fab! Are there any projects you’re hoping to start?

The Fireside blanket from Attic 24, A Stardew Valley Spring or Winter cross stitch, and a Christmas knitted jumper for me!

We love the Stardew Valley seasonals! Are there any other resolutions that you’d like to share that may be non-crafting related?

Build a big LEGO set (hoping Santa will bring one), To DM a game of Dungeons and Dragons and to move house!

Here’s to hoping 2026 brings you all the wonderful things, Gem! Thank you so much for taking part in this year’s round of resolutions; we all can wait to see what you create and achieve in 2026! ✨

I’ll check in with our team in June and perhaps they’ll have an update for us! Be sure to check back next week for our next set of New Year’s Resolutions. If you’d like to share yours, we’d love to hear them! Tag us in your posts using #WWResolutions – we can’t wait to see what you might be making for next year! đź“…
