It’s the final week of our resolutions and this week, we’re back and chatting to Assistant Customer Services Manager Paula to see what she’s got planned for 2026! But first, let’s see what fabulous makes have flown out of her project bag, first.

Hi, P! What lovely things have you made in 2025?

I completed my first garment cable project, a tank top using Yarnsmiths Create DK in Bronze, which I’m super pleased with! I really enjoyed challenging myself to try something new and I love how it’s turned out. Other than that, I’ve made two Elephants and two Luna Lapin Rabbits, as well as four Sophie scarves by PetiteKnit!

Looks great, P – love that colour on you! What are you hoping to finish for 2026?

Currently, I’ve got a pair of socks on my needles, but I’ve also got two hats to finish and a quilt that I need to hand quilt.

You’ve got this! Are there any projects you’re hoping to start?

I’d like to make another tank top but use Yarnsmiths Merino Aran this time, but I haven’t found a pattern just yet.

I’m sure you’ll scout one out soon! Are there any other resolutions that you’d like to share that may be non-crafting related?

My resolution it to keep up with gardening, reading and walking.
