The Stitchuation 🧵Meloca Designs

We’re back with our second Stitchuation and we’re ready to show you some of our favourites. Whilst we were very strict last month with our top five, we’ve broadened our horizons a little and picked a little range here and there. It’s tough, okay?! This month it’s all about Meloca Designs and what a collection they deliver.

Combining her love for all things arts and crafts, Megan Louise Caines established Meloca Designs in 2017. Crafted from their home studio in Birmingham, Megan’s team has grown by two team members since 2021, continuing to impress stitchers everywhere with their distinct style and high-quality products. But enough chat from us, let’s let these stunning designs do the talking!

We love personalisation when it comes to cross stitch and the Melocharacters kits certainly tick that box for us and then some.

Coming with instructions on how to customise your characters, both the original and the Wedding Melocharacters really offer that extra personal touch when stitching for yourself or a loved one.

Without a doubt, the Mandala series from Meloca Designs are quite the showstoppers. Featuring animals from the jungle to those more commonly found curled next to you on the sofa, these intricate designs are a joy to see and stitch. The only trouble you’ll face is which kit to start first, and to make life a bit tougher, you can see the full selection HERE.

Stitched on 14-count Aida and using full stitches, this rainbow watercolour heart is sure to make yours skip a beat.

While striking as designed, this piece could easily be turned into a sampler for any occasion – perfect for a wedding!

Whatever the occasion, we’re loving the literal burst of colour.

We’re huge fans of needle minders in the warehouse and Meloca’s do not disappoint. If you’re a lover of matching your kit with your accessories, the Mandala needle minders are an instant hit. Others include notion themed designs – we’re loving the little embroidery hoop! You can shop the full range HERE.

Certainly one for the plant parents, the Cacti kit displays the best kind of shelfie. With pretty pots and buzzing bees, it’s perfect to brighten any space.

How fab would this look near an indoor potting area? With these so green, it serves as the perfect reminder to keep those babies watered – but not too much!

We hope you enjoyed our first of many ‘stitchuations’! Be sure to stick around for some great inspo! Now off to have a look in the drawers for next months goodies…
