July has consisted of a few super warm days, along with a lot of rain! Your orders have been trickling in, and once again, we love trying to guess what you’re all making! This month, we’ve had a few new launches, which have included some gorgeous yarns and projects, shall we take a look?
Yarns
We’re absolutely thrilled to announce that Yarnsmiths Full of Beans has finally landed on our shelves this month! It’s been a bit of a wait, there were a few bobbins in the works that put a spanner in the launch (you know how it goes!), but the wait is over and it’s ready to brighten up your knitting basket! This acrylic yarn is a riot of colour, with a fun, variegated design in wonderfully bright, cheery, and playful colourways. It’s perfect for adding a splash of personality to any project you’ve got on the needles, whether it’s a cosy jumper, a funky scarf, or a delightful homeware piece.

Stylecraft have also launched their Fair Isle Effect yarn, which is perfect if you’re looking for that style of yarn. It comes in 6 gorgeous shades, ranging from soft blues to incredible pinks. The colour change in this yarn will create a mock Fair Isle effect as you knit. This means that, even for a beginner, you can create a stunning garment or home accessory featuring the traditional Fair Isle pattern.
Other new goodies…
The Clover Yarn Ball Winder is your new best friend. This nifty gadget sorts out skeins of yarn into neat, fuss-free balls in a flash. It’ll wind up to 130g of your favourite lightweight knitting wool, and all it takes is a gentle turn of the easy-grip handle. No more battling with tangled yarn – the Clover clamps securely to your table, keeping things nice and stable while you wind. Now you can spend less time wrestling with yarn and more time getting stuck into your next project!
Trimits has been spoiling us crafters rotten with their ever-expanding collection of fluffy pom poms, and we just had to get our hands on their brand new animal prints for our latest projects! They’ve added four delightful colourways, each boasting a unique spotted or patterned design, giving you plenty of choice to unleash your creativity.

Scheepjes has just launched their dazzling new Make-A-Long (MAL), the Prism Blanket, designed by Susan from Felted Button. This eye-catching design promises a delightful journey, using a variety of techniques to create a textured masterpiece with depth and dimension.
Throughout the MAL, which runs from July 22nd to August 22nd, you’ll be crocheting alongside a supportive community on the official Scheepjes Facebook page. So, whether you’re a seasoned stitcher or a curious beginner, there’s plenty of friendly advice and encouragement to help you bring your very own Prism Blanket to life.
