We were excited to add the James C Brett Emotions to our shelves this month . This gorgeous double knitting yarn comes in a range of beautiful colours, each inspired by a different emotion. With 150g per ball and 435 metres, Emotions is perfect for knitting up cosy projects.

Yarnsmith’s Merino Sock has been popping up everywhere online lately! From cosy Christmas socks to the West Knits shawl KAL, it’s clear this yarn is a favourite. We’re thrilled to announce three stunning new colours just in time for the festive season – Mistletoe Magic, Jolly Holly, and Festive Fairisle. These shades are perfect for knitting or crocheting festive socks that will keep your feet warm and toasty all season long.

And we couldn’t resist highlighting the latest addition to the Drops family – Fiesta! This vibrant and durable sock yarn is superwash treated for easy care and comes in a variety of fun and colourful shades. Perfect for socks, but also great for sweaters, cardigans, and hats, Fiesta is a versatile and cosy yarn that’s sure to become a favourite.

Scheepjes Bookazine is back with issue 18 – The Family Issue. This beautiful book is packed full of stories, projects and yarn inspiration. Learn how crafting promotes wellbeing, and meet Tania at KnitKat, the vibrant hub in Ghent where crafters of all ages gather. You’ll also be introduced to some of the faces behind De Bondt, a dedicated team working passionately to support the crafting community.

We’ve also had the wonderful My Granny Square Wardrobe in from Sam Sabido! This book is packed full of different styles of granny squares, which can be made into wearable garments. The book is a delight to have in, and we know how hard Sam worked on this project <3

I thought I’d pop in an additional section, to keep you up to date on our other social media pages. We’re over on Facebook and Instagram under Wool Warehouse, and you can keep up to date with us by following along. We’ve had some fabulous content this month, from some favourite customer makes like From Devon with Love and Neocraftsical. We’ve also shared plenty of new Yarnsmiths goodies, plus some cute staff makes!

That’s all for this month, we’re busy working behind the scenes for a big Yarnsmiths launch happening in November… See what is new with Needlecraft by clicking here, and why not head over to Fabric to see what Judith has to say?
