As autumn peaks, we’ve been busy planning our fabric collections for spring next year, and can’t wait to show you what’s in the pipeline (keep an eye on our ‘What’s New‘ page for some exciting releases soon…). We also have some autumnal new arrivals to share with you, so let’s get cracking with October’s round up!

Warm autumnal colours entice us to put on a coat and boots and take a wander in nature, and the gorgeous ‘Nature Trail‘ collection from Lewis and Irene evokes the crunchy leaves beneath our feet and pockets full of treasures discovered on a magical walk. This lovely range of seasonal favourites will delight kids and adults alike – cute woodland animals, leaves and berries, and toadstools abound!

There’s also a whimsical bunting panel to add to your cosy Autumn decor, and a fun squares panel to cut and sew as you like.

Pssst! If you like your Autumn vibes a bit more grown up, we’ve also just received the Cranborne Chase collection, which includes a beautiful quilt panel. Check it out here

Jane Austen’s third novel Mansfield Park was first published in 1814, and tells the story of young Fanny Price, who is sent to live with her wealthy relatives, the Bertrams, at the age of ten. As she grows up, she develops deep feelings for Edmund Bertram, the only person at Mansfield Park who shows her true kindness.

This fabric collection from Riley Blake honours and highlights the beauty of Mansfield Park estate, in which Austen’s novel is set, and features prints reproduced from the original Jane Austen coverlet quilt, along with a carefully designed coordinating Mansfield Park print by Riley Blake.

Riley Blake have also released a free quilt pattern that perfectly showcases these regency era prints, and is an ode to the central romance of the novel. You can find the ‘Edmund and Fanny’ quilt pattern here

When Deb Strain created the hit Effie’s Woods collection for her first granddaughter, Willow’s Farm was sure to follow when grandchild number two arrived! Filled with sweet farm animals, trucks, tractors, and butterflies, Willow’s Farm provides a welcoming farmyard to create with. The soft, gender neutral colours will coordinate with Effie’s Woods and include a subtle gingham, farmyard damask, and all- over farm scene.

Many of the prints feature the kind-hearted farm animals showcased in the panel. So if your little one loves farms and farm animals, Willow’s Farm will be the perfect collection for them!

That’s October’s fabric rounded up! Don’t miss our of this month’s yarn and projects here, and needlecraft goodies here.
