This month has flown by, with launches left right and centre. We’ve had some warmer weather, meaning we’ve all been reaching for our lighter knitting and crochet projects. Let’s see what’s arrived this month… 🌈

Read about new projects here

New shades of Wendy Supreme DK have landed with us, making the total colours in this collection up to 75. Some gorgeous shades like Honeycomb, Spiced Ginger and Kingfisher would work lovely together in an autumnal blanket! A vision has been born! This super soft acrylic yarn is perfect for all makes, and even better, you can machine wash and tumble dry! Shop the whole collection here, and why not also have a look at their Aran, Chunky and Cotton Love DK why you’re at it πŸ’–

King Cole Yumtastic has also joined us, which is great for crocheters and knitters who like making cuddly toys. This Chunky weight chenille yarn is deliciously soft and warm, and it comes in a fabulous array of playful colours. The Yumtastic is a new addition to the much loved Yummy Chenille family, that brings a burst of fun, comfort and colour to all your projects!

Introducing Stylecraft Serene, an aran-weight yarn that lives up to its name. With a gorgeously soft handle and a beautifully mottled colour effect, Serene brings a unique look to knit and crochet projects alike. Available in six tranquil shades – Mild Mocha, Peaceful Pink, Quiet Coral, Still Green, Placid Purples, and Tranquil Blue – it’s designed to bring a sense of calm to your autumn wardrobe.

We’re so lucky to work with so many different designers, all who use different ranges that we stock. This month, Emyleah Newbery (also known as Meema Makes) has started her Hexalong Crochet Along, which uses some gorgeous shades of Stylecraft. The hexagon style design gives this blanket depth and structure, whilst also playing with some gorgeous colour placements. You can shop the yarn pack here, and join the Meema Makes Facebook group here.

Another gorgeous book that’s launched is from Ricorumi, the Baby Blankies book. This book includes some pretty blankets for your loved one, using their famous Cotton and Nilli Nilli yarns. So cute and adorable! The Ricorumi books are perfect for having, as they include so many patterns with detailed pictures and instructions. The Baby Blankies book includes some adorable characters which we know your little ones will adore!

And lastly, you may have spotted it in a previous Monthly Round Up, but I couldn’t resist showing off the cutest Project Bags by the Crafty Kit Company. I was wandering the aisles of the warehouse last week and stumbled upon the Peter Rabbit, A Bag of Happiness Project Bag. It’s just up my street, I adore anything Beatrix Potter, and even visited her house at the National Trust earlier this year. The bag is small, so would probably only fit needlecraft projects, or if you were working on socks, however as I don’t do any of those, it looks like I may have to start working on some smaller projects…. *adds to basket*

That’s all for this month, why not head over to see what’s new with Needlecraft, and make sure you pop over to see Vic in Fabric πŸ₯° Toodaloo 🌈✨
