We’re dreaming of boats bobbing on the water and the scent of seasalt whisking through the air, as we explore Makower’s seaside inspired collection, High Tide.
Ornate shells, tones of sand and blue hues feature throughout this popular range, evoking memories of summers past and future. Collections like High Tide have us thinking of sunny days by the beach, enjoying the views and sounds of what’s around us.
For many of us, being by the sea brings us such a sense of serenity, as the presence of the ocean waves can be calming and beautifully reflective. High Tide offers that semblance of peace, offering ways to bring pieces of those idyllic beach days into our homes and cherished spaces.
We love how each piece focuses on an element of what you’d see either beach or harbour side, but it wouldn’t be a Fabric Focus if we didn’t take a closer look at some of our favourites! This month, we adore the wonderfully shell-heavy Beachcomber in both Navy and the Blue. Not only do the designs of each shell gel together perfectly, the colours used really pop on these tones in particular, reminding us that so much treasure can be found on the beach!

Designed by Lynne Goldsworthy, the High Tide table runner and placemats pattern uses the collection beautifully, even offering some alternatives to use from their Linen Texture range, which elevates and compliments this nautical tablewear.
