Over the past month, we’ve discovered what makes our Woolly Workers’ Halloween oh-so-creepy. We’re back with our final chat this week with Dispatch Assistant Beth, who tells us what makes the season special.
Hi, Beth! What are your favourite things about the Halloween season?
Itβs a tie between the creativity everyone seems to experience: designing their costumes, doing their makeup – special effects is always so cool to see! Decorating their homes with creepy little trinkets, and the weather. Thereβs nothing that screams Halloween more to me than the crunch of fallen leaves under your feet and the bite of cold wind.
We couldn’t agree more! Are there any shows or movies that you love to watch this time of year?
Buffy the Vampire Slayer is my go to. Itβs one of the earliest shows I remember loving as a kid and itβs still a total blast. The Haunting of Bly Manor is a close second! The perfect mix of creepy, romantic and soul-crushing, in my opinion.

Some ace picks, so far! What upcoming Horrors are on your watchlist?
Ugly Stepsister, the latest instalments of the Alien franchise (the original is another of my childhood favourites), and I Saw The TV Glow.
In the somewhat words of Ghostface (IYKYK), what are your top three favourite scary movies?
Alien (watching that as a child changed my brain chemistry), Black Swan, Talk To Me.
A great mix, there! Have you got any plans coming up to celebrate?
Iβm going to be boring, stay at home, and replay my favourite horror games. Silent Hill and Outlast are first on the agenda. Maybe Dead Space, The Last of Us, too π
Not boring at all; us gamers in the warehouse are fans of some of those, too! Thanks for sharing what makes your scary season oh-so-special, Beth! Happy October! π
That’s it from us for our ultimate Scare fest; thanks for joining us each week. Whether you’re cosied up with your favourite craft, planning what to carve on your pumpkins or having the movie marathon of all movie marathons, we hope you have a wonderful Halloween! π
