Our 11th Monthly Round Up has arrived, and it’s a little flurry of orders have kept us busy in the warehouse for the festivities. By now, I’d like to think we’ve all started our Christmas crafting, but also know us crafters leave things to last minute 🫣 We have some new bits to show you, along with some cute things which you can ask Santa for… 🎅
Spotlights in the Warehouse

Now, we all love Ricorumi, so when they started adding to the collection with other small sized pockets of joy, we were all so excited. For this launch, they’ve released Furry Furry, a super cute and colourful addition to the ever growing collection. Furry Furry is a beautiful yarn that adds texture to projects, and it works with Nilli Nilli and Cotton so you can make sure your yarns are all from one collection. Delicate fibres are embedded in a carrier thread and create a fine, fur-like surface when crocheted or knitted, see some examples below from their new book!

Next for this month, isn’t a new yarn, but it is one we see being popular for this month. World of Wool Chubbs is a beautiful roving yarn, that comes in some fabulous colours. You can use it for garments, accesories or homewares. Made from 100% Merino, this Super Chunky yarn is perfect for knitting, crocheting and even felting. We’ve seen the super popular Sailor Slippers by Annie Sews all over our social media, which calls for Drops Snow, however this is a perfect substitute for those wanting to have a go at some felting. See the pair Charlotte made over the weekend below!

Tis’ the season for amigurumi makes, and with these makes come stuffing! We have recently released our own stuffing in four fibres, Polyester, Recycled Polyester, Cotton and Bamboo. These vacuum sealed packs will expand once opened. Shop them here

You may have spotted Janie Crow on the 3rd episode of The Game of Wool, so it would be unfair of us to not share some of her amazing projects…especially just before Christmas. On the show, she wore her amazing Climbing Rose Wrap, which is made in beautiful shades of blue, pinks and greens. You can choose between a Yarnsmiths pack or a Stylecraft one here. She has also recently launched a new pattern called Halley Beaded Wrap, which uses our Yarnsmiths Merino DK, in soft shades like Dusky Peach, Antique Gold, Vanilla Fudge and Ginger. The pattern calls for Debbie Abraham beads, which come as part of the yarn pack. The finished shawl is a real delight, the work put in will make it worth wearing. Get your yarn pack here.
Lastly for this month, we thought we’d serve up some stocking filler inspiration. Emma Ball has some pretty accessories that will inspire you crafters into 2026. Some of our favourites are these cute stitch markers, perfect for those add on gifts for the crafter you love. They’re suitable for both knitters and crocheters. Easily attach them to your stitches or slip them onto needles to mark rounds, repeats, or key points in your pattern. Shop them here.

As it’s our last Monthly Round up before Christmas, I just wanted to say a BIG thank you to all our Craft Room readers, and those who love our Monthly Round Up posts, we see you! That’s all for this month, why not head over to see what’s new with Needlecraft, and make sure you pop over to see Vic in Fabric 🥰 Toodaloo 🌈✨
