We’re getting closer and closer to what many call ‘The Big Day’, so with another week ticked off the countdown, we’re back with another Staff Spotlight. This week, we caught up with Customer Services Manager Adam to see what makes his Christmas that much more magical ✨
Hi, Adam! What are your favourite things about the season?
My favourite things about the Christmas season would have to be putting my decorations up, I like to put them up the last week of November. Last year I made a Christmas Tree skirt out of remnants from my fabric stash, it turned out amazing!

It certainly does – love the colour scheme! Are there any shows or movies that you love to watch this time of year?
Every year without fail we watch the first 2 Home Alone movies, they just bring so much joy and laughter! I’m not really one for watching other Christmas films.
What are your top three festive songs?
Wham – Last Christmas, Chris Rea – Driving Home for Christmas and Mariah Carey – All I Want For Christmas Is You.
Some timeless picks, there! Without spoilers if they’re for a present, can you tell us a little bit about your latest WIP?
I currently have 3 on the go that I really need to finish, I have a tank top in a nice purple shade I need to finish, a pair of socks knitting in a lovely hand dyed yarn purchased from a yarn fair, and lastly a granny square shirt/cardigan that should have been finished earlier this year!

Can’t wait to see how these turn out! What’s the ‘now it feels like Christmas’ moment in your home?
It would have to be having the Christmas tree up, the tree lights on, I like warm yellow lights, they just create a warm homely atmosphere, it’s just so magical!
And finally, what certain tipples (if any) or snack cupboard staples are a must for you this time of year?
I’m not a big drinker really, I will have an alcoholic drink Christmas day to celebrate, I’m not fussy what it is. Snack wise, I have to have Twiglets every year, I just can’t get enough of them, followed by some chocolate, again, I’m not fussy what chocolate it is!
Thanks, Adam! We hope you have a wonderful festive season! ❄️
