It’s our final week of our seasonal Staff Spotlights (boo! 😭) and this week, we caught up Customer Service’s very own Leah to see what adds a little magic to this time of year ✨
Hi, Leah! What are your favourite things about the season?
My favourite part of Christmas is always the dinner made by mum, I look forward to it every year. We have a roast with all the trimmings, never turkey though, followed by homemade Christmas pudding.
You’re making us hungry! Are there any shows or movies that you love to watch this time of year?
I watch Love Actually every year, I think it’s a classic. Last year I watched Die Hard for the first time, after years of not being convinced it’s a Christmas film, I loved it and will be sure to watch again this year.
A couple of classics, there! What are your top three festive songs?
Driving Home for Christmas, Slade’s Merry Xmas Everybody & Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree. This maybe an unpopular opinion but, I don’t want to hear Christmas songs until December.

Hey, it’s what works for you and what you enjoy! Without spoilers if they’re for a present, can you tell us a little about your latest WIP?
Trying felting for the first time, very much trusting the process but hopefully will be perfect for cosy seasons.
It definitely feels like a craft perfect for this time of year! What’s the ‘now it feels like Christmas’ moment in your home?
Probably my sister coming home from London and her trying to add tinsel to anything and everything. I think she only does it because she knows I’m not a fan, but that is sisters for you!
At least she’s an easy person to buy for knowing this! 😂 And finally, what certain tipples (if any) or snack cupboard staples are a must for you this time of year?
Mulled wine is a must and a tub of Quality Street (or any chocolate really, I’m not fussy!).
Sounds like a top selection, Leah! We’re wishing you a wonderful festive season! ❄️ That’s it from us for our Staff Spotlights, but be sure to join us in the new year for another round of resolutions! 🗓️
