Hi December! We’ve been waiting for you 🎄We’ve had a busy month picking and packing your orders, so we hope you all received some gorgeous yarn under the Christmas tree this year! Let’s jump in and see what we have that may inspire some new projects for January…✨
Spotlights in the Warehouse

Cygnet are always a great brand you can rely on for producing some great yarns in fabulous colours. Their new addition is Festival Glow, a single ply style yarn that is great for bigger projects, where you can see the colour changes better. Its twisted ply effect with stunning colourway changes gives you soft stripes that look great on both garments and accessories. Available in 8 fun shades, machine washable and easy care this self-striping yarn is perfect for seasonal knits and crochet. They’ve also got some great free patterns which are shown below

We have had some new shades of Malabrigo come into the warehouse, with 12 new shades added to the Worsted range. From some gorgeous bright shades like Molino and Hannah, to more muted shades like Ivory and Whole Grain. If you don’t know about Malabrigo Worsted, then it’s a buttery-soft single ply of fine Uruguayan Merino wool. It’s also fantastic for felting projects! Like all Malabrigo yarns, it is kettle-dyed in small batches by their artisan dyers and is full of subtle variation and beauty.

Stitch Markers from Yarnsmiths are new in, and full of rainbow! Choose between Hearts, Standard or Metal stitch markers, which all come in a helpful tin. You get 50 per tin, which are great for crafters who often lose their stitch markers down the side of the sofa (🙋♀️)

Abi McIntyre from Get Yer Hook On has designed a gorgeous new blanket, ready for you to get your hooks stuck into. An Cala is a beautiful pattern that uses Yarnsmiths Pebble Haze Prints to create a variegated background with a contrast Create DK colour. You can choose from 5 colourways, each giving the design a new look. The An Cala pattern draws inspiration from the charm of a traditional Scottish harbour, complete with stone buildings, fishing boats, distant hills and the ever-present seabirds. Its name, An Cala, is Scottish Gaelic for The Harbour, reflecting the scene it portrays.
That’s our last Monthly Round Up for 2025! Head over to Needlecraft and Fabric here, and we will see you in 2026 🌈✨❤️
